As part of the continued development and innovation at the Madressa we are pleased to share with you the new theme for 2010, the concept of a Quran Day, which will take place on 25 April 2010. This day will be completely devoted to appreciation and understanding the various subjects covered in the Holy Quran, e.g., fruits, mountains, seas, insects, etc. The children will present and showcase their work on this day to their fellow students and teachers and we will have an assembly at the end of the day where some of these works will be presented to a larger audience. We will write to you nearer the time with the details of the programme for Quran Day. You will have noted that your child brought home on Sunday 14 March a guide to the project that we are all collectively going to work on during Madressa time and at home. The work will be done in groups of Since we are going to work on these projects during Madressa time and at home may we suggest you provide your children with the necessary stationery when they come to Madressa so they can use it to work on their assignments. We recommend that you go to www.madressa.net where you will find further details of the work to be undertaken and helpful hints. Details of each class are also provided to assist you in locating the appropriate one for your child. Please note we have not listed the student in each group and the teachers name on the website.
