In the changing world we live in, we continue to find an increase in the expanse of the generation gap between grandparents, parents, young adults, and children.
The shifting expectations and norms of society coupled with our desire to maintain a religious and cultural identity poses each successive generation with new problems and issues, requiring novel ways of thinking and understanding to be developed.
As the pace of life accelerates, and moral values are increasingly overlooked in pursuit for comfort in the material world, we know that the answers to our problems, to our hopes and to our lives, lie only with Allah(swt).
It is with this understanding, this concept, and these values that the mission statement of The Shia Ithna’Asheri Madressa and what we hope to impart through our teaching onto our students was developed.
