The Madressa runs from 10.00 am to 1.30 pm on Sundays as per our calendar. Before undertaking to teach a class, teachers are requested to ensure that they will be able to commit to attending every Madressa session that is held

Teachers must arrive in good time, preferably 9.45 am if they are teaching the first lesson, and be in class to receive their students and to greet them. They should also ensure that they complete their lesson promptly, so that the next teacher will be able to make maximum usage of their allotted time.

Teachers teaching the last lesson (ending 12.55pm) should escort their entire class into the respective Wudhu area, mark the Salaat register (if necessary) and then hand them over to the Salaat teachers. All members of staff should sincerely try to be present for Salaatul Jamaat. Teacher’s should ensure that they participate in the Jamaat if they are not supervising to ensure that a firm example is set regarding the importance of Salaatul Jamaat.

Absences

In the case of unavoidable absenteeism, it is the responsibility of the teachers to arrange for suitable cover as well as leave instructions for what is to be taught in their absence.
