A bookmark to compliment a lesson on Ayatul Kursi: "His knowledge extends over the heavens and the earth" - Ayah 255

You Will Need:

• Coloured card
• Silhouette template (downloadable here)
• Ayah Template (downloadable here)
• Ribbon
• Star stickers
• Silver paper/card
• Scissors
• Glue
• Adhesive plastic sheet (OR can use laminator and laminate sheets)

How To Make:

1. Cut the card into a bookmark size (about 5x21cm)
2. Print and cut out the silhoette onto black paper (alternatively colour it in black). Stick on to bottom of the bookmark.
3. Print and cut out the ayah from Ayatul Kursi, and stick near the top of the bookmark.
4. Stick on the star stickers.
5. Cut out a crescent shape from the silver paper and stick on.
6. Cover with adhesive plastic OR alternatively, laminate.
7. Punch a single hole on the side of the bookmark. Thread ribbon through and tie, leaving two equal lengths hanging.
8. Press hard on one edge of the hanging pieces of ribbon across the scissors to curl.
