A Project to display Imam Husayn's camp in Karbala
You Will Need:
A4 white pieces of paper (approx 15 sheets)
green paper
wooden sticks
colouring pencils
red, green & blue paint
A4 blue sheets of paper (approx 15-20 sheets)
blue tissue paper
strips of blue paper
silver foil cut into squares
a printed label saying Battlefield & River Furat
sticky tape
glue
large paper plate
large piece of gold crepe paper for everything to be displayed on
How To Make:
1. Colour in the white sheets of A4 paper and then fold into a cone shape, and stick down with a small piece of sticky tape.
2. Cut rectangular pieces out of the green paper to represent flags.
3. Then stick this onto the wooden sticks and place inside each cone.
4. Paint the paper plate using red and green paint.
5. Stick the Battlefield label onto this paper plate.
6. Paint the blue sheets of paper using a different shade of blue paint.
7. Stick the foil pieces, tissue paper and blue strips of paper onto the blue sheets of paper. This is to represent the River Furat.
8. Stick the River Furat label onto one of the blue sheets.
9. This can then be placed on a table, to display Imam Husayn's camp in Karbala, as shown in the picture below.
