Class 1-4 Class 1-4 covers the ages 4 years to 7 years. The teaching in these classes consists of a mixture of theoretical and practical approach, with more weight towards the latter in the initial years. The practical approach would include rhymes, poems, worksheets, and plays. Class 5-11 Class 5-11 covers the ages 8 years to 14 years. The teaching in these classes consists of a mixture of theoretical and practical approach, with more weight towards the former in the later year groups. The higher the class, the more in-depth coverage of the subject takes place. Subjects The focus of the Madressa is on the traditional areas of Fiqh, Quran, Tarikh, and Akhlaq. The objective is to provide the students with the fundamental theoretical and practical knowledge of Islam and its practices. In addition, we offer language options of basic and advanced courses in Farsi and Arabic to the senior classes as well as other members of the community. Furthermore, Islamic GCSE studies were introduced in 2005. Finally, in addition to the more theoretical fields, we are offering the students the opportunity to undertake inspirational journeys to our holy cities to perform Ziyarat and participate in specially tailored religious classes.
